The 82nd Texas Legislative (regular) session will soon be history.  Prospects are looking more and more likely for a special session to deal with the budget and member redistricting.

• Stricter examiner scrutiny – Shift from “supervisory” approach to “enforcement” approach – large number of banks with administrative actions
• All DC specialties active and pumping out directives/guidelines.  Seemingly limited coordination.
• Regulation is Washington centric – Washington is still driving the examination agenda
• DC bottleneck delays all “policy” decisions, “priorities,” “high priorities” and other “high priorities”
