Banking Commissioner Letter to FDIC

In a letter to Sheila Bair, Texas Department of Banking Commissioner Charles G. Cooper expressed his concerns about the FDIC’s Overdraft Protection Guidance. Commissioner Cooper requested that the FDIC recall or suspend the guidance to allow time for evaluation by state and federal banking agencies.
