In his latest blog post, IBAT President and CEO Chris Williston questions the Obama administration for suggesting that government dictate the pricing of any bank product.

While not necessarily a fan of too big to fail bank tactics, “all financial institutions should have the right to establish product and price so long as it is responsibly disclosed to consumers,” Williston writes.

Tuesday - The day began with Dr. Tom Parliment speaking at the General Session followed by Elizabeth Vale. Then, there were several Learning Labs to choose from. The luncheon revealed more award winners: Congratulations to Cliff McCauley, Frost Bank, on winning the IBAT Chairman's Award and Dennis Schwartz, Schwartz & Associates, on winning the IBAT President's Award! Connie Podesta made the luncheon a complete and informative experience. Finally, the convention was concluded with the Regulator Panel.
