Question:  What law requires bank employees to take two consecutive weeks of vacation?

 

Answer:  No law.  This is a matter of risk management and is recommended procedure--particularly for employees who are in a position to hide cash shortages.  If employees can't take two consecutive weeks, then be sure that you have adequate internal audit procedures to detect embezzlement, kites, or fraudulent loan activity.
