Question:  There has been talk of changing the privacy notice requirements.  Do we still need to do our annual notice?  Any change in content?

 

Answer:  Yes, you should do your annual notice within a consistent twelve month period.  The FACT Act would change the way that customers could "opt out" on information sharing between affiliates.  However, the regulations have not been finalized...so no change!
