Question:  We are preparing to bid on our local school funds.  Do we have to disclose our business relationships with the school trustees, superintendent, and others?  Has this requirement gone away?

Answer:  The law is in effect.  See IBAT's Special Compliance Bulletin for more details.  Basically you will have to get the names of all "officials" from the school and then file a CIQ (Ethics Commission form) on all.  IBAT and the other trade associations are working on a solution, but for now, comply.
