Compliance Forum Information

Have you been wondering what has happened to IBAT’s Compliance Forum? Back in January we launched our new website, and things look a little different now. What used to be called the Compliance Forum is now the Compliance Users Group. To access the Compliance Users Group you won’t have to re-enroll on a separate site with a separate login like you did on the old forum site. Your single login on the new IBAT site gets you access to all website features.
Many of you may already be members of the Compliance Users Group. We have already enrolled the majority of our previous forum members in the group. If you are already a member of the group you can find a link to the forum under you’re My Groups box on the right side of your myIBAT homepage. That is the page with the Community Updates, Newsfeeds and Content Alerts. If you haven’t logged in yet try using your email address as both your user name and password. If that doesn’t work then contact our website administrator, Jennifer Dupont, at jdupont@ibat.org.
We might have lost a few of our group members during our transition though, and If you are not member of the new Compliance Users Group you can join by clicking on the “Groups” link on the left hand side of your myIBAT page, then click on the Compliance Users Group in the list of all groups, and on the Compliance Users Group page click on the green “Join” button on the right hand side of the group page. Congrats! You’re in. That’s all there is to it.
Once in the group you can review existing discussions and reply, or post new discussions (topics). Our Deputy General Counsel, Shannon Phillips, reviews the group discussions daily to make sure that every question is getting answered. You will also start receiving some additional emails from group activity. If you don’t want more emails in your inbox then go to the notifications sections of your personal user settings and change all of the group notifications to “daily”, “weekly” or “never”, whatever your preference is.
The group is still new and there are a lot of exciting changes in the works. And we really need your imput to make it even better. Let us know what we can do to improve your experience. Just email khall@ibat.org or sphillips@ibat.org and tell us your ideas. We are already working on some changes to make the discussions more reader friendly, so make sure we have your suggestion in the list. We’re also working on making the email notifications more informative and help you decide if you want to log into a discussion.
