In Texas, JA Houston is currently the only JA Office with an operating JA Learning Center. Preliminary plans are underway to open additional JA Learning Centers in San Antonio, Austin and Dallas.

Students prepare for their one day visit by studying the basics of math and business, preparing to open and maintain a small business; civic roles in a small community. When they arrive at the Learning Center, they are prepared to operate the microsociety for a full day, managing hiring, cash management, production flow, advertising, investment and more.
