DeerWeekend Doe Hunt

Enjoy a weekend hunting trip with your child or grandchild at the McGee Ranch, located along the Colorado River south of Goldthwaite in Mills County. The weekend includes two nights lodging at the McGee Ranch house, home cooked meals from Friday night through Sunday breakfast and doe hunting on Saturday.  Two doe may be taken during the hunt. (The purchase price does not include processing, but a processor is available in Goldthwaite).

Hand blown glass bowl in the cane/murrine technique.  Artist Courtney Branam from Seattle, Washington, is influenced by historical glass pieces, particularly 19th and early 20th century Italian glass.  His goal is to find a balance of color, form, pattern and proportion.  While striving for technical perfection, he embraces the "soft" qualities of the material, sometimes considered" flaws" or "imperfections", that can only be achieved through traditional, off-hand techniques.  Courtney believes that these characteristics are what make these handmade objects so special.

FishingSouth Texas Fishing Trip

A fisherman's paradise!  Arrive Sunday noon in Harlingen and fish Sunday afternoon, all day on Monday and one more time on Tuesday morning before departing on Tuesday afternoon.  Six people in three boats.  All meals and drinks included, plus comfortable air-conditioned rooms for lodging.  Enjoy great food prepared by Angie.  If you haven't fished enough during the day, you can fish from the pier at night.
