Annual Auction

IBAT Annual LIVE & SILENT Auction Fundraiser
Renaissance Worthington Hotel, Fort Worth • Monday, September 29, 2014

Help raise funds for the IBAT political action committee (PAC) by donating to the PAC Auction, held annually at the IBAT convention. The IBAT PAC is exclusively dedicated to promoting the community banking industry. PAC funds enable IBAT to support candidates who understand the important role community banks play across Texas. The IBAT PAC is an essential tool in the association’s government relations efforts and the PAC Auction is its major fundraising event.

There are two ways to participate:

Choose something unique. Be creative! Don’t have time to shop? You can make a personal contribution and let the IBAT staff do the shopping for you and you’ll get all the credit! The PAC Auction is one of the most popular events during the IBAT Annual ConventionDue to Texas Law, the PAC is not permitted to auction any alcoholic beverages, including wine.
2. Purchase An Item
Enjoy the live and silent auctions and make a purchase from the many gift items your colleagues have chosen to entice you.

Be The First!

We will sell 100 tickets for $100 each. Immediately before the Live Auction begins on September 29, 2014, we will draw one ticket from the 100 tickets sold. If we shout out your winning ticket, you will have the opportunity to select any item in the Live Auction to take home with you. You don’t have to worry about the pressure of having to outbid your neighbor…the item is yours!  If you are unable to attend, please contact Mae Beth Palone prior to the drawing to let her know what item you would want, if your ticket is drawn. Now that’s a deal!

Remember, there are only 100 tickets, so get your order in early:

Due to Texas Ethics Commission guidelines, corporate contributions CANNOT be accepted. IBAT will only accept PAC Auction donations from IBAT members and associate members. Contributions to the IBAT PAC are not deductible as charitable contributions for federal income tax purposes. The winner will be responsible for taxes on the value of the selected item.
