On October 2, 2011, at the 37th IBAT Annual Convention in San Antonio, IBAT unveiled the True Texas Community Banker lapel pin for you and your staff to proudly wear everywhere you go! Over 900 have already been distributed for use by our member bankers.
In an era in which government bailouts and “too big to fail” have become the new normal, it is clearer than ever that community banking is a separate and unique industry from the lumbering, Wall Street giants that call themselves banks.
