SUB S Technical Changes - Good news all...Congress has left town...and before they left, they passed a hurricane tax relief bill that included important Sub S changes. Now, a provision will apply allowing an Individual Retirement Account to be a shareholder of an S Corporation bank to include being a shareholder of a bank holding company or savings and loan holding compnay. In last year's bill, the provision did not apply to bank holding companies.
