In anticipation of the April 17 special legislative session, Governor Perry rolled out the much-anticipated results of the Sharp Tax Commission plan to restructure the Texas school funding system.  We are in process of putting together a bank-specific worksheet for you to determine the impact of this plan on your state taxes, and will make that available to you next week.  This is a complex piece of legislation, and one we intend to carefully consider - with your input - prior to taking an official position.
