Here is a link to a final report of the Texas elections. Your IBAT staff would like to say a big THANK YOU to all community bankers who provided us the means to be successful on your behalf, especially those who continue to help by conducting political action committee drives in their bank, and support the IBAT PACs in so many other meaningful ways.
Your IBAT PAC invested in a record number of US Senate, Congressional, Supreme Court and Texas statewide and legislative races...186. We lost in only 8 races...four open seats and three incumbent races (all in the Texas House), and one open seat on the very important Third Court of Appeals. We batted 100% in the statewide Texas leadership races.
This sets us up in stellar shape as we prepare for a very busy 80th Texas legislature. A special thanks to all of you who delivered checks to the candidates on our behalf, and a special thanks to Steve Scurlock who tirelessly attended many local evening fundraisers.
IBAT continues to be a major player in the Texas political system! |
