The Federal Open Market Committee once again decided to leave the overnight borrowing rate steady at 5.25% this week. The Fed's target rate has remained unchanged since June 2006. Following the release of their statement, analysts saw more light at the end of the tunnel as the Fed removed its “elevated” inflation concerns and replaced it with “readings on core inflation have improved modestly”...Read more in this week's Baker Weekly.
