| BAKER WEEKLY |

Last week’s biggest movement in the Treasury market came on Monday as Dennis Lockhart, President of Atlanta’s Federal Reserve Bank, expressed his concerns of weakening job growth dated beyond just July’s decline in job growth. Other Fed Governors also chimed in to voice their concerns over what Janet Yellen, President of San Francisco’s Fed Bank, called a “significant downward pressure” on the economy. Other news - crude oil reached an all-time-high of $80.20/bbl as OPEC countries are slow to increase production to meet current global demands. The dollar fell to the lowest level ever against the euro as signs suggest a slowing U.S. economy. One dollar is worth only 0.722€. Currently, the 2Yr T-Note yields 4.07%, after falling to 3.85% on Monday, hitting a two-year low. Today, the 10Yr T-Note yields 4.47% and the 2’s/10’s spread is just over 40bps.
