The firms were presented with the IBAT Five*Star Award, the highest honor an Associate Member can achieve with IBAT. The presentation was made during the 33rd annual IBAT Convention in Fort Worth Oct. 2.
“This Award is reserved for those special contributors to our industry that take the extra step because they believe in the mission of independent banking,” IBAT President/CEO Chris Williston said in making the announcement.
Voting for the Five*Star Award includes judging technical and support services, working relationships between the service partner and bank, high standards of the nominee and exceptional cost-savings to community banks.
Additionally, McCoy Myers and Associates officially became a Legend in the eyes of the Independent Bankers Association of Texas (IBAT).
The Amarillo-based company was recognized at the 33rd annual IBAT Convention in Fort Worth Oct. 2 for its continuing support for community banking across the state by receiving a special Legends Award.
McCoy Myers previously had won the highly coveted IBAT Five*Star Award a record six times in a row and was officially moved into its own class – that of a Legend among IBAT Associate Members.
“I said it last year when McCoy Myers was presented the Five*Star Award for the sixth straight year – the company set a standard all its own,” IBAT President/CEO Chris Williston said. “McCoy Myers has proven year after year to be a true friend to independent banking.”
