Subject: Bank Operations in Response to COVID-19 Pandemic
On Monday, March 16, 2020, I issued a Proclamation that gave you the ability to modify or close your bank office/branch operations in response to COVID-19. This was done to allow you flexibility to protect the health of your employees and customers. Incumbent with this is the responsibility to ensure that you meet the financial needs of your customers.
For us to be aware of the status of bank operations throughout the State, as you reduce your existing operations, we need you to complete the attached form promptly. We have attempted to make the form as simple as possible. I know you and your personnel have plenty to do, and we do not want to add to your burden needlessly; however, this information is important to be able to evaluate how banking services are being impacted across the State and to be responsive to inquiries from the Governor’s Office and others.
